Book a one-on-one Mentoring Session

Experlio Mentoring Sessions are your opportunity to connect and learn from the experts who know what it’s like to be in your shoes.

Complete a Challenge

Before you book a Mentor Session you must complete a Mentor’s learning Challenge first.

Challenges can be found in the Community Space page or in the My Learning section on the Dashboard page.

Find the Mentoring booking link

Once you have completed a Mentors Challenge you may need to wait for a few days before a Mentoring booking link is released.

The link will be released through the Community Spaces page in the form of a calendly link.

Book a time the suits you

Click on the calendly link and follow the prompts to book a time that suits you.

Each Mentoring session is conducted via video link and usually lasts about 20 minutes. Be sure to note the Mentoring date and time in your calendar and prepare accordingly.

Also, during the Mentoring Session, it is up to you if you wish to maintain your Experlio username Alias as a placeholder for your legal name. While on the Experlio platform or associated products it is not a requirement that you share your personal details with anyone at any time.

Prepare for your Mentoring Session

Because Mentoring Sessions are time limited, it’s in your best interests to come prepared.

We suggest reviewing any preparation material the Mentor sent to you before the session, writing a list of questions you want to ask them, and having any work you wish to discuss ready to go or already shared with them.
