What is an Opportunity?

An Opportunity is just like a job/role you’d like to advertise. Though in Experlio we are a little more flexible about the opportunity. It could range from a Gig (short term project) to Part Time work or Full Time.
Use the space as a chance to sell working with your organisation.

How long do Opportunity posts last?

Opportunities go live for an infinite amount of time, but if we see that your post has gone dormant or isn’t receiving any engagement we will shut it down. Once posted, they can be stored on your dashboard until you decide to delete them. All applicants will also be stored on your challenge, unless they decide to withdraw their application.

What is a Challenge?

Challenges are at the heart of Experlio. They allow you to view creative ideas tailored to your business, either real or in theory. It’s a chance for you to engage with talent and get a deeper understanding of their skills and whether they might be a good fit for your organisation.
You don’t need to to be super specific with a Challenge. You can leave room for creativity and interpretation, but you want to give enough information that applicants know what you’re interested in seeing/understanding about them.

What’s the best format for Challenges?

There’s no right or wrong way to go about posting a Challenge, however the more information you provide, the better quality the submissions are likely to be.

Broad Challenge example

Goal + timeframe: We’re trying to increase our Instagram following to 10,000 followers by the end of the year. Show us how you would approach this with a content first approach. How would you change our current approach?

Specific Challenge example

Goal + timeframe: We’re trying to increase our Instagram following to 10,000 followers by the end of the year.

Context: We have been using X social media platform for X amount of time

Challenge: We’re finding that our original techniques aren’t as effective at doing xyz…

What you want: We’re really focussed on trying to xyz…

What you’ve tried: We’ve done XYZ to date and have found mixed results – for example…

Do’s/Dont’s: We don’t want to produce content like…

How would you approach this challenge if we were to bring you on in our business?

How do I upload a video? And are they required?

You can upload a video directly from your phone or computer. We strongly encourage you to add a video to your Opportunities to personalise it and provide Creatives with an insight into your organisation which will help with the quality and relevance of submissions and provide you with better insights into how they might work with you ongoing.

Is Experlio free to use?

Yes, it’s free to post a challenge and contact up to 2 creatives. Beyond that, there is a flat fee of $97 AUD to contact 3 or more creatives (up to as many as you like for each Challenge). Experlio does not own the rYes, Experlios is free to sign up, post an Opportunity and Challenge and contact up to 2 Creatives that have submitted applications to your Opportunity.

Not getting emails from Experlio or Creatives?

The most likely culprit is the spam folder. Please check your spam folder thoroughly. If you can’t find the emails you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch with support so we can help you out.
